Harmonize Your Life with Your Senses, Women’s Ayurvedic Fall Retreat
With Betty Brown, Ayurvedic Practitioner & Rachel Dora, LMT
Join Ayurvedic Practitioner Betty Brown and LMT Rachel Dora for a one-day Ayurvedic retreat. Explore managing our senses to harmonize stress levels and overall health through sight, sound, touch, taste, and smell.
Ayurveda is an ancient health system originating in India, with an emphasis on rejuvenation and longevity. In Ayurveda, the misuse of our senses is said to be one of the three leading causes of dis-ease and suffering within the mind and body. The five senses can be thought of as portals or pathways into our mind, body, and consciousness.
During the retreat, you will explore how to use and support your five senses to welcome soothing and balancing energy into your life –
- feel calm, at ease, and soothe your anxiety
- learn how to distinguish between harmonious and disharmonious information to support your overall well-being
- have fun
- immerse yourself in creative activities that foster the harmonious use of your senses
- foster heartfelt connections with other like-minded women
An Ayurvedically prepared vegetarian lunch is included along with snacks.
