Ayurveda is known as “science of longevity” with emphasis on preventative health and rejuvenation.

Spring is a time for renewal, a perfect time for a 3 Day Women’s Spring Retreat to Relax & Rejuvenate with Ayurvedic wellness modalities that include yoga, massage, meditation, and healthy Ayurvedic meals.



During your 3 day Women’s Spring Retreat you will have the opportunity to nourish yourself with Ayurvedic modalities  that are listed below.  We want to emphasize REST and that YOU choose how to support yourself by participating in rejuvenating activities that will nourish you.

  • Practice gentle Hatha yoga, pranayama-breath practice

This retreat is all inclusive.  Included in the retreat are all Ayurvedically prepared meals (breakfast-lunch-dinner) and snacks, lodging, massage, yoga, guided meditation, guided nature hikes and more.



Meals and snacks are prepared using Ayurvedic principles.  Ayurveda recommends eating foods prepared with love, using seasonal and organic ingredients that are sustainably-ethically grown and raised. You do not have to be a vegetarian to eat Ayurvedically, however animal  ingredients are chosen mindfully and with respect.   Most meals will include an abundance of plant based ingredients along with meat and diary options.

Betty and Sandy will prepare your Ayurveda meals.   They have personal experience preparing meals to accommodate a variety of special dietary needs.  We will do our best to accommodate your dietary needs.

Alcohol is not allowed or served during the retreat.  Caffeinated beverages will not be served, but if you feel you must have caffeine, you may bring caffeinated beverages.  Please no sodas or energy drinks.

Relax and Rejuvenate yourself in the peaceful woodlands located in Hocking Hills, Ohio, just an hour southeast of Columbus.   We have reserved The Meadows Lodge, which has a calming atmosphere where you can relax and feel at home.   This is a time for you to escape from your busy daily life.   This is a time for you to focus on your well being, to rest, and to feel supported.

Upon completing your registration form a 50% down payment is due.  Final payment is due by February 11, 2024.  If registration takes place on or after February 11, full payment is due.


As a Thank You Gift, the first of five women to register will receive  $100 worth of Ayurveda self-care products at the retreat.

Full refund of your deposit or full payment will be given minus a $75 registration fee when you cancel before February 11, 2024.  There will be no refund of your money for cancelations after February 11, 2024.  You may transfer your spot to another person who agrees to the COVID-19 protocols outlined here, and upon acceptance of their registration and their payment.  Priority will begin given to people on the waiting list.  If you are unable to attend due to COVID-19 symptoms, we will make accommodations for a credit or refund of your money minus the expense of your lodging.

If we ( Women’s Spring Retreat ) need to cancel the retreat, you will receive a full refund.

All participants at the retreat will be fully vaccinated.  This means a person has received a minimum of 2 doses of Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or 1 dose of Johnson and Johnson plus a Pfizer or Moderna vaccine.  See CDC Guidelines LINK

You will upload a photo of your CDC Proof of Vaccination Card in the registration form.

If you experience COVID19 symptoms 2 weeks prior to the start of the retreat, April 26, 2024, please do not attend the retreat.  Please contact us and we will make arrangements for refunding your payment minus the expense of your lodging.  See CDC Guidelines for COVID19 Symptoms 

Since we are spending 3 days together, mostly indoors, we request that you show proof of a Negative COVID19 Test at least 72 hours prior prior to the retreat.  Free COVID19 tests may be available.

Betty Brown, CAS, RYT 200, RN (She/Her).

Betty is a NAMA Certified Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist, RN.  Betty is the owner of B Well Ayurveda Health Coach, LLC.  She has trained and received certificates in meditation training, Master Reki, Heart Centered Hypnotherapy and RYT 200 Yoga Teacher.  With Betty’s understanding of allopathic medicine and Ayurveda, along with her passion for cooking, she supports clients with integrated wellness coaching.

Rachel Dora, LMT (She/Her)

Rachel is a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) with a focus on therapeutic Swedish massage. As an energy worker for 20 years, Rachel supports her clients with multiple modalities, including reiki, myofascial release, trigger point therapy and craniosacral massage.    Rachel holds a M.A. in Public Health Policy & Philosophy from George Washington University and received her massage certification and training at Columbus State. Rachel enjoys forest bathing and kayaking with her family and holds the firm belief that everyone has the capacity to be a healer. Starting with ourselves.

Kara Lough is a Yoga Alliance Certified yoga instructor, reiki practitioner, and teacher of aromatherapy. With over 15 years of experience teaching beginner basic and slow flow, Kara specializes in guiding yogis of all ages towards balance in the mind, body, and spirit. Her style of teaching embodies the idea that yoga is for anyone. Kara’s traditional approach caters to those looking to regain the movement and strength that their body needs, while also working to ground the mind and spirit.

Nicole Warner, LMT

Nicole is a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) and owner of Inner Wisdom Healing Center, LLC.
Nicole offers a place where you will find a calm, peaceful, and safe atmosphere, allowing  you to
focus your attention on the restoration of your body, mind, and soul.
Massage is at the core of her practice and many of her clients enjoy a mix of
modalities including Myofascial Release, Emotion Code (using muscle
testing), CranioSacral Therapy, Cupping Therapy, CBD and Essential Oil Education, and more.

Sandy Grant, Ayurvedic Educator

Sandy is a retirement plan consultant who is certified in both Ayurveda and Reiki. She began incorporating Ayurvedic principles in her life over ten years ago and found it life changing. She added Reiki almost five years ago. Reiki became an integral part of her life as she used it in caregiving for her mother, and she has found it to be a foundation to keep her mental, physical, and spiritual health grounded.



We will provide a packing list and a a sample meal menu.

Please note this retreat is a non-smoking event.

Most important, arrive with an open mind, open heart, and intention to Relax and  Rejuvenate yourself. 

You will also go home with an  Ayurvedic Wellness Kit to continue your wellness journey at home.
