Ginger Lemon Tea

At an Ayurveda and yoga retreat in the Sacred Valley of Peru, the Munay Sonco Retreat and Yoga Center made the most amazing ginger-lemon tea. It gives you a lift, helps you feel stronger when you feel tired, and helps to alleviate some respiratory symptoms. I don't have their exact recipe, but here's my version.

Ginger and lemons are both heating and can increase pitta dosha, so in the summer be cautious about how much you drink. With traveling and feeling run down, my vata dosha had spiked, and the warmth of this tea is comforting as it balances vata.
