Green smoothies are a great way to get your 5 daily servings of vegetables, fix afternoon hunger pangs or start your morning off healthier. They take a few minutes to make, and you can make them ahead since they keep in the fridge for up to 3 days.
A general guide is 60% greens and 40% fruit. Use seasonal produce as much as possible; I highly recommend organic produce.
