In our Resilient Activist Bookclub, we just finished reading the book 📕 The Inner Work of Racial Justice, Healing Ourselves and Transforming Our Communities Through Mindfulness by Rhonda V. Magee
Sharing this “on the go” mindfulness practice presented in the book, a helpful tool to manage overwhelming feelings and impulsive reactions during stressful situations.
It can take as long as 1 minute or several minutes. I’ve personally used this practice to work with my anxiety, challenging situations, and responding to triggers.
Mindfulness allows us the space and capacity to rise to the challenges we face daily with strength, resilience, and grace
Next book on the Resilient Activist Bookclub reading list – Sage Warrior by Valerie Kaur
